India is re-launching passenger trains

News Desk (Channel TT): The Ministry of Railways of India is going to re-launch the passenger train service. Trains will gradually start running in the country from next Tuesday (May 12).

India's railway ministry said on Sunday (May 10th) that 15 pairs of trains would be launched in the first phase. News Times of India.

As special trains, these trains will run from New Delhi to Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Trivandrum, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Taoi.

In addition, the country's railway ministry will launch 20,000 compartments for the Covid-19 care center and 300 trains a day for stranded workers.
Train services in India have been suspended since March 24 due to a lockdown.
